Subject: Driving took my deposit and they do not want to refund me
Am not sure who to refer the matter to. I paid a deposit of R500 to United Driving school (Reg:2010/11816/23) Johannesburg on the 24/08/2013. When I had to start with the lessons the guy that I paid the money to, told me that he was sick, I cannot come. The second time and numerous times when I called he told me that the car was broken. I demanded my deposit back and the lady at their offices told me that they never received the money, I must ask that guy to give me my deposit. She checked the books and my name was in the receipt book and she insisted that she never received the money. I have been calling this guy for the past 4 weeks on a daily basis but he promises to give me my money. I have already went to another driving and finished my lessons. I really need my deposit back.

Thanks for the response. Please blacklist them. I spoke to Doreen again today she said I can go ahead, they don’t have a problem. Martin is not taking my calls. I tried my best to be civil with them. I have made numerous calls and a 2 visits to their offices.
