A client was failed at Centurion testing centre for “mounting a kerb” when the rear left wheel went over a stone on the surface of the road as he turned left.
The client had to wait weeks for a re-test, and many emails were exchanged before his version of events was accepted and he was permitted to be re-tested and was passed. His mother was on crutches at the time and had needed him to fetch his brother from school and to help with buying groceries etc. but the examiner did not take the trouble to find out if the client really mounted the kerb or not before failing him.
This is unacceptable
