As discussed I paid Franci R4286 on the 5th December 2012. By March she had managed 5 driving lessons after much cancelling etc. I then booked  a lesson and spoke to her when she arrived. I said that it was not acceptable that she had managed so few lessons given the time frame and that I would appreciate being reimbursed the extra money I had paid. I was prepared to pay for 6 lessons. She agreed. I called, I emailed, I smsed. She ignored me. I found a new driving instructor and by mistake then paid Francie another R400! So I am out of pocket a lot of money. Close to R4000.

She is dishonest and untrustworthy and ducks and dives when you try to contact her.

I have attached the list of her prices as well as the number of  driving lessons my daughter had, as well as proof of payment.

I would love to get my money back,but in the meantime I think people should know how she conducts her business.

Any help would be appreciated.

We cannot be held liable for any problems at the testing stations.  If we take you to a testing station to confirm ur appointment and there is something wrong at the testing station, we will have to charge you R150 for every return trip to the testing station. No refund on Packages after we started. Test station fees is included in prices. Please note that the price list shown only applies to Mabopani, Temba & the Pretoria testing  area (Waltloo and Centurion). For test in Bronkhorstspruit, Rayton, Jhb and surrounding areas additional fees will be charged. Go to our website http://www.urdrivingschool.co.za/ for Terms & Conditions.

Good Morning every one this is Franci from Ur Driving School. I find it very odd that someone that know our trade could say that I continue robbing the public. The first complain in 2011 I did spoke to Pat on the telephone and she ask me to put my terms and conditions aside and refund the people. I told her that I can’t do that just because she asks me to. Don’t want to break my rules. The second complain of 2013 she didn’t even talk to me but there the client had 10 of the 12 hours lesson and a test date which was not honored. Also as you can see I put my terms and conditions on my price list in red. WE TRYING TO RUN A BUSSINES THAT IS LEGAL AND DON’T NEED THESE UNEXPECTED NEGATIVITY.

Negative publicity hurt our company. Therefore we we will not do anything like robbing people to hurt the company. We do follow the rules.

I had a thought. If she won’t pay me back what if I find and sponsor a student who can’t afford to get his licence? Someone from Silverton or Mamelodi. That way she at least fullfils the commitment? What do you think?

When are you planning to reimburse me for all the lessons etc you were unable to give my daughter as well as the additional R400 I paid you in error?  An honourable person would do the right thing.

As we discussed telephonically I would like to lodge a formal complaint against UR DRIVING SCHOOL-FRANCI.

On 25/03/2011 I phoned Franci at UR Driving School inquiring what the costs would be for my son to get his learners & drivers licence urgently and if possible within 1 month for his work required a valid drivers licence. She told me the cost would be R3950.00 for the full package.She needed the full amount to be deposited into her bank account before she could come and see us.She then as per sms send her bank details to me from cell no:072 070 7277.On 26/03/2011 I did a EFT of R3950 into her bank account. On Friday 1st April she brought the forms to my son explaining to him to work through the forms and to contact her as soon as he is done then she will come and mark them.We tried to get hold of Franci thereafter,but no answer. We left messages.no response. On Sunday afternoon 10/04/2011 she came to see us at home. I asked her why she never returned our calls to her ,which she replied that her cell no has changed to 0762723747.I asked her why she didn’t notify us of this,she just replied she is sorry. After I requested of when my son’s learners appointment is she replied that she will pick him up on Monday morning 10H00 at his workplace in Centurion. She only picked him up at 11H00 without notifying him. Please note he is currently on probation,so it is firstly not a good impression. He and 3 other people travelled in her car to Randburg. They spent the whole day in this car at a Sasol garage in Randburg,where apparently she was waiting for someone to confirm that my son is going to write his learner’s test on this day. That is what was arranged the day before. She told us that she has already have an appointment for him. They arrived home at about 3H30 the afternoon. He had not written his learner’s test and he did not have anything to show for this day to his Employer. He was given a warning letter at his workplace the next day and did not get paid for this day. I phoned her and told her that I want to be refunded the full amount of R3950.00 which was paid to her for she has done nothing for my son up to date. She replied she will forward an apology letter to his employer. She has cc’d me and for the first time forwarded a schedule which reflected the different packages available with prices.And with notice that monies is not refundable.This is totally unexceptable.I have contacted her various of times thereafter  and emailed to her our bank details for the refund. However she did agree towards my husband that she will pay back only R3000.00. My husband then agreed to this but up to date she has not paid us back any monies.

Please note,that my husband is currently unemployed, for the last 2 months. We need this money. We had no joy from the start from this person Franci. I don’t think we deserve to be done in like this. We were honest from the start with her and paid her the monies beforehand because we trusted her. Believe me, she is not to be trusted at all. We should stop her before she does the same to others.

We would appreciate it if you could look into this matter for us, and help us to get our money refunded to us.

I have not yet received a reply from Franci, but I did see her at the Waltloo Testing Centre last week.She said she had received my email. She wanted to explain something but was blocking the area with traffic trying to pass, so she said she would reply soon. I will let you know as soon as I receive her reply or forward it to the authorities.

(This was done, but no help was found there.)

Thanx for the response and feedback regarding this matter. Believe me if I say that if Franci responds to your email it will be a miracle. Forgive me for sounding so negative, because up to now she still has not responded to our agreement regarding the refund.
